Starting as a homegrown food truck specializing in made-from-scratch sausages in 2013, we continued our expansion journey with our brick-and-mortar location in North Park Beer Company in 2016 and opened our first standalone restaurant in the heart of La Mesa in 2023.
Love this welcome addition to this neighborhood! Stellar beer selection (they even have TWO sours on tap currently!!) and delicioussss food. Every pizza we've tried has been a hit. Our daughters call it the "square pizza place." Might I add their brunch is a must do?! So yummy.
Every single thing on their menu is incredible. From their brunch, to their salads, to their burgers to the pizza, you can't go wrong. Highlights for me are their smash sliders, KAC salad and the burrata pizza. We love them so much, we had them cater my big 40th birthday bash and became even greater fans. Dont play yourself, and get in there!
I came on a Monday afternoon for a quick lunch. Their Mastiff Fries are really good. Their burgers were good. Think I'll try their pan pizza the next time I'm here. Thanks Mastiff for the quick bite!
Great spot! Came by Friday after work with the family and basically ordered on or more of everything off the happy hour menu, and a few extras. Standouts were the pork nugs and the maple Brussels sprouts, but everything was very good. Great sausages, sauerkraut, and mustard too, would come back for more of just the sauerkraut.
Loving this edition to La Mesa. I have been there about 5 times now. Love having a safe place.to sit at the bar, order some food and drinks and watch the football games! Love the tomato, cucumber salad, the pan pizza and burger!
